Our mission is to train future research leaders to design and implement novel quantitative and computational methods that solve challenging problems across the entire spectrum of biology and medicine. The program is flexible, and attracts applicants with training in biology, research and clinical medicine, computer science, data science and analytics, statistics, engineering and related disciplines. BMI is one of the home programs in the School of Medicine's Biosciences Programs . AMIA 2020 Informatics Summit - Houston, Texas - March 23 - 26, 2020 . The NLM Informatics Training Conference will be held at the Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, OR on June 23 - June 24, 2020. All NLM and BD2K trainees are expected to attend. BMI news We are in the middle of our PhD and Academic MS admissions cycle for the 20-21 academic year. We will let all Academic MS applicants know of an admission decision by late February/early March .
